I recently had an echo, stress test, and holt monitor to rule out my heart is the reason to sudden onset of health symptoms. I’m sure my health problems are stemming from severe gut issues but here are the heart results, per the cardiologist:
Echo: Slightly Enlarged right atrium, minuscule leak between upper/lower left chambers, and slight stiffening of left ventricle.
Stress test: blood pressure rose a light quicker than desired.
Holt monitor: rare extra beat
Yet the cardiologist said in general there was no cause for concern and the echo findings are not unusual for a 53 yr old woman with a few decades of controlled high blood pressure. He didn’t seem concerned at all. It being my heart, I am. What does all this mean?
