My 4yrs old daughter had a bout of diarrhea after which she began to request feet massages. She said her feet were cold(i guess she has no idea what numbness feels like) I gave them to her. I didn't associate it with the diarrhea though.
A week later she began to limp slightly. I noticed it in the morning and also when I picked her up from school. I asked why her explanation was " my bone is growing "( i guess her legs were feeling heavy?)
By the following morning, she was wobbly and you could tell her walking was seriously affected. She was practically dragging her feet and falling down too. She giggles when it happens because apart from this obvious problem, she seems absolutely fine. Her appetite,no fever, nothing.
We tried to see a neurologist but he gave us an appointment for Monday. All he said is give her B complex and wait until Monday. My husband is a mess and I can't even bring myself to tell him I think it has progressed. Because four days ago there was practically no pain even when I stretched her legs. But today she winces and says ouch! Please tell me if I should be worried. I have bought B 12 supplement and have given her b complex too. I am so confused.
